Product Overview
The 46 Series Flexible & Toughening Resin is a specially formulated additive-type unsaturated polyester resin that imparts superior flexibility and impact resistance to standard FRP products. Unlike conventional rigid resins, the 46 Series maintains high elongation at break, preventing cracking in thin laminates and absorbing shock without delamination. When blended at 10-30% with ortho, iso, or NPG base resins, it significantly improves toughness while retaining good mechanical strength. Grades AT-FLX-01 and AT-FLX-02 are explicitly engineered for transparent daylighting roofing panels, offering exceptional clarity and UV stability alongside enhanced flexibility.
